Event Details

Expo 15 is the main event in the health and care calendar. Returning to Manchester and hosted once again by NHS England it will unite 5000 people a day from health and care, the voluntary sector, local government, and industry. Everyone at Expo is a change agent: keen to network, learn and share the ideas and innovations that will transform health and care services, now and for future generations.

With the most influential and inspiring speakers on two stages, a pop-up university offering more than 80 tutorials, the unique Expo feature zones, the unconference-space Camp Expo and a lively and relevant exhibition, Expo will ignite in everyone the desire to make a difference to the way they work. It will be a turning-point in many people’s professional lives.

This year Expo is more relevant than ever before, happening post-election and just after the first 100 days of the new administration. Our speakers will respond to the challenges and opportunities for the NHS, set out in the ambitions of the new government.

This year’s Expo will be challenging, and will deal in reality not theory. The programme is designed to scrutinise early evidence from five months of heavy lifting kicked off by the Five Year Forward View. By September we’ll have some real progress to show and we’ll meet the early adopters and pilot sites that have embraced this challenge and are already making a difference to patients.

Expo will host the second Kate Granger Compassion in Care Awards, and at all times will be a celebration of the people who’ve devoted their careers to working in health and care and their energy, commitment and vision.
