Building on the success of the previous events in the ehealth series taking place in London, Istanbul, Casablanca, Malaga, and Florence the 6th International Digital Health Conference 2016, held in conjunction with WWW 2016  will be a unique thought-leadership and networking event bringing together members of the five key stakeholder groups (Industry, SMEs, Healthcare and Academics Researchers) to learn, present, network and discover – together we are forging the future of digital health.

Industry – Reasons for attending:

• identify upcoming innovations & industrial partnership opportunities
• understand current international policy initiatives and frameworks
• develop international research partnerships with other stakeholders
• attend at non-profit rate introduced to attract business leaders and start-ups

SME – Reasons for attending:

• network with key international corporate players in healthcare
• develop partnerships with businesses and researchers
• identify optimal routes to market for new products and services
• attend at non-profit rate introduced to attract business leaders and start-ups

DH 2016, held in conjunction with WWW 2016, and in cooperation with ACM SIGMOD and SIGKDD, will in particular focus on public health computer science covering a wide spectrum of subjects including communities of practice and social networks, analytics and engagement with tracking and monitoring wearable devices, big data, public health surveillance, persuasive technologies, epidemic intelligence, participatory surveillance, serious games for public health interventions and automated early identification of health threats and response. 

While held in conjunction with WWW 2016, building on interdisciplinary success of ehealth 2008-11 series, the aim of the conference is to bring together an multidisciplinary spectrum of researchers, industry/start-ups and healthcare practitioners.  There will be a range of stakeholders involved in digital health including academia, intelligence system providers, international health agencies, NGOs and industry startups.
