James Gupta Marketing Director

Bio James is a medical student currently studying an intercalated MSc in Healthcare Informatics at The University of Leeds, where he has been awarded medical, informatics and enterprise scholarships. Last year he successfully sold his first company, JumpIn, after serving as Chief Technical Officer for 18 months. He is the founder of MyCQs, an innovative e-learning platform that encourages medics and other students to create, practice and share their own test questions.A self-taught software developer, James is passionate about using technology to solve some of the problems facing healthcare, and believes that doctors and medical students are some of the people best positioned to lead this revolution. In his talk, James will discuss the future of technology in healthcare, how this will dramatically change the role of the doctor and how we should adapt to lead this change.
