Doctorpreneurs IP Workshop

Please join us for our first ever Doctorpreneurs Workshop and Networking event this summer.

The event will hosted by Intellectual Property experts Marks and Clerk, who will be running us through a variety of topics including:

• The patent process, strategy and costs
• Timeline and stages of the process
• Do’s and Don’ts
• International patenting
• Commercial legal aspects
• Licensing
• Confidentiality agreements
• Setting up your business
• Commercial pitfalls
• Getting funding

The team will be structuring their talks around some real life case studies from within the medical sector to illustrate the processes. We will also hear examples from medic entrepreneurs who have gone through the process themselves before Q&A followed by drinks and networking.

The first session will take place at The Clinical School, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, in June this year (date TBC). We’re also looking to hold an event in London later this year.
